1 One day I decided I wanted to pick up this guitar in my house that doesn’t get much play here... tuned it and everything. I started fiddling on it then the E string popped – I enjoyed how it sounded without it ... and then something in my heart was just like...oh yea this is what I needed to channel these thoughts into words. How important it is to write without judgment of one's true feelings and explorations! I think I sat in denial a lot about things that had happened over time, I remember it being really relieving after I wrote this. This was also written after I wrote “sixth: and last time”... so yeah I guess this is like the more emo version of that track in my eyes. Ha!
